Poke Connections is a free, fan-made browser puzzle: 16 Pokemon names, four hidden groups, four lives. It is not affiliated with NYT Connections, Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, or Pokennection. A new board opens at midnight UTC. Names are text only.

Other public sites do not share one failure rule. Pokennection's how-to-play page describes four lives. PokeConnections.com describes six wrong guesses. poconnections.com and PokemonConnections.com describe boards you cannot lose. This site uses four lives, and a guess that shares three of four tiles is called one away.

How a round works

  1. Read the 16 names. Select exactly four.
  2. A correct group locks in and leaves the board, from yellow through purple.
  3. A miss costs one life. Four misses ends the round and shows the groups.

The number beside the headline counts boards since 1 Nov 2026, inclusive. A finished daily stays on this device under the progress key named in the privacy policy. Unlimited play does not change today's result.
