Editorial Policy
Poke Connections is a free, fan-made browser puzzle: 16 Pokemon names, four hidden groups, four lives. It is not affiliated with NYT Connections, Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, or Pokennection. This page is how a sentence earns a place on the site.
Our boards
Daily groups, hints, and the archive are first-party. They are exact because this site generated them. A "why it fits" line restates the property I used, such as primary type or generation, and names the extract. I do not add a story about a character that the extract does not state.
Everyone else's facts
A claim about NYT Connections, Pokennection, or another puzzle site needs a public page I can link. Two independent sources that agree become "2 sources" in the status column. One source stays "1 source". If two sources disagree, both numbers stay on the page. I do not average them. If I cannot find a source, the cell stays empty.
The #1173 groups are the pattern: Lifehacker, CNET, and Mashable printed the same four categories, so the table says 3 sources. StayTiny's 1.0.0 date and the 1.12.3 footer are different readings, so they stay in different rows.
What I will not do
I will not publish another game's daily answers. I will not invent a download link, a price, a file size, or a player count. I will not label a planned mode as if it were playable. Impossible and 5×5 are listed on the modes page with empty cells until they exist.
Corrections and dates
Each page has a last-updated date. The date is the day I last changed the page, which for this launch is 5 Nov 2026. Email [email protected] with the URL and the sentence. A fixed fact gets a new checked date on the source line.
The note at the bottom of each page is the judgment I made: which number I kept, which single source I refused to upgrade, which cell I left blank. One limitation sentence closes it.

Questions
Do you test codes inside a game?
This puzzle has no redeem codes. Mode rules are the rules of the page you are playing.
How do I ask for a correction?
Email [email protected]. Include the page URL and the sentence.
Why do some cells say 1 source?
Only one public page stated that fact. I leave the count visible instead of writing it as settled.
