Poke Connections Guides

Poke Connections is a free, fan-made browser puzzle: 16 Pokemon names, four hidden groups, four lives. It is not affiliated with NYT Connections, Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, or Pokennection. These guides explain this site's boards. They do not reprint another game's daily answers.

Two pages hang off this hub. Categories lists every family the generator is allowed to use, with the counts I recomputed and the traps that make a name fit two stories. Strategy is the solving method: what to count, when to spend a life, and why purple waits.

If you want today's groups, use the answers page. If you want a nudge without names, use hints. The guides stay useful after midnight because they do not depend on one date.

Do these guides spoil today?

They explain category types, not today's four answers. The answers page does that.

Will you add a page per Pokemon type?

Not from this hub. The category guide keeps the type families and their different rules together in one table.

Can I use a guide category in the maker?

Yes. The maker offers the same families the generator uses.
